Fall Class Schedule
The Ausable Artisan Village Art Center is growing and becoming a new cultural center for our area. New artist’s work arrives weekly and creative classes are available at the Art Center and Gallery throughout the year. These creative classes are offered by seasoned professional artists with something to share. Along with the drawing classes offered by Terry Dickinson you will find classes in pottery making, photography, jewelry making and now acting classes. The present schedule for 2011 is:
· OCT 20 – “Acting for Auditions”; 5 weeks of fun with Dane G. White, SVSU Theater Professor.
· NOV 5 - Thomas Dean's photography class for beginning photographers.
· NOV 12 - Stan Prevost's "Walk on the WIDE side", a lecture demonstration about panoramic photography.
· NOV 18, 19 and 20 – AAV Art Walk/Indoor Art Fair. Artists will be here and their work will be on display and for sale with great holiday gift giving ideas.
· DEC 3 - Metalwork Jewelry (pendant) class with Nancy Cornett
· DEC 10 - Metalwork Ornament class with Nancy Cornett
New ideas and suggestions are always welcome. Make a request and we will see if we can provide the experience. The Ausable Artisan Village Art Center and Gallery represents the artists we showcase but we are here for the community.
